Very intesting developments in Afghanistan, where large mineral deposits have been discovered. Large amounts of Lithium, Copper, Cobalt and Gold have been identified in several places in Afghanistan (check map)

How will a country like Aghanistan deal with this vast economic potential? As the article mentions, Afghanistan has almost no technical experience when it comes to mining. Furthermore, with corrupt politicians, fighting factions, economic interests from all over the world, and different resources spread over the whole territory of Afghanistan, this looks like a mix for disaster.
