This blog is all about my PhD research about the effectiveness of sanctions in resource conflicts at the University of Valencia, Spain. The blog serves various purposes.
Firstly, it serves as a forum for other researchers in the field to read my publications and to share their thoughts on the subject. I will also try to keep an updated list of interesting literature about the natural resource curse, sanctions in resource conflicts, and articles about the case studies I will be working on. (Sudan, DRC, Liberia, and Angola).
Secondly, I will use the blog as a personal tool to keep my PhD project administered in the cloud and to find people that are able to collaborate on the subject. Suggestions for articles, videos, or just interesting thoughts are very welcome. Perhaps this blog will only be read by 2 or 3 people sharing their thoughts, perhaps it will grow out to be a platform for many people in the same research area.
For the moment, the blog will consist of lists of interesting literature and research proposals in English and Spanish for my own research. Later on, I hope to be able to publish my own articles, other peoples articles, videos, chapters of my thesis, etc. Anything that could be useful.
If you are a researcher, journalist or student with an interest in resource-conflict and the use of sanctions and embargoes in resource-conflicts, join the blog and improve our knowledge.
